Frequently Asked Questions

Our Mountain Cur puppies are $800.  A deposit will be required to reserve a puppy & the balance will be due when you pick up your puppy.

We currently have a deposit based Wait List, as well as a non-committal email list.  

Our Wait List has priority selection from each litter, where as our email list is contacted after the Wait List if there's availability & deposits are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

To join our Wait List:

1. The first step is to complete our Puppy Application.

Once your family has been approved, we will send you an email with the Deposit Agreement. 

2.  Once your Wait List Deposit ($100) has been received, you will be added to our Wait List & will receive monthly email updates .

3.  When puppies are born, we will request the Puppy Deposit ($200) to reserve your puppy from the available litter. 

4.  The remaining balance ($500, as noted in your Deposit Agreement) is due at Puppy Pickup before you take your puppy home. 

Our Wait List has priority for reserving each & every litter, and puppies will not be offered to the public (or email list) unless our Wait List is not sufficient for the available puppies. 

Selections (puppy picks) are based on the order of deposits received & will be made at Puppy Pickup in person.

Deposit amount for our Mountain Cur puppies is $300 ($100 Wait List Deposit + $200 Puppy Deposit).  

Deposits are non-refundable, unless a puppy of your preferred gender is not available.  In this case your deposit can be transferred to the next available litter.

However, in the event that something major happens in your life & you are unable to follow through with your commitment at the time, you're welcome to transfer your deposit to a future litter of your choice:

1. One time only
2. To another litter whelped within one year from date of transfer.

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, but such is life.  Your deposit is a commitment to us that you're ready to bring home a puppy to it's forever home.

Puppies will have their first round of vaccinations & age appropriate wormings.  Our Mountain Curs will have OMCBA & AKC Foundation Stock Service registrations.  Our Treeing Curs will have NSD registration.

We do not ship our puppies.  Young puppies are more susceptible to various illnesses & diseases, and therefore we require our puppies to be picked up by their new owners. 

We can arrange to meet at the Little Rock Airport, should you need us to.
