Welcome to Lost Forty Kennels

We LOVE our dogs.  They are a part of our family, and we raise them to be well-mannered family companions, as well as reliable hunting partners.  Each of our dogs is involved in our every day lives.  We make certain our dogs are kept happy & healthy, which produces solid puppies for their new families! 


We HUNT our dogs.  They love it.  They live for it & so do we.  We take part in just about every hunting season Arkansas has to offer. In the off season, we spend time fine tuning their skills & keeping them in shape.   There are no days off for any of us! 

 
Our Mountain Curs are solid squirrel dogs, with strong treeing instincts & the energy to hunt all day.  If you're looking for a squirrel dog or a coon dog, our Mountain Curs will be your new hunting buddy.  We have interest in our Mountain Curs from coast to coast, so be sure to get on our wait list!  

 Breedings planned for Fall/Winter 2024!




About Us

We are Brent & Tiffany. We currently reside outside the quiet town of Sheridan on 10 acres nestled in the timberlands of Arkansas.


We are passionate about the outdoors, as well as our Curs.  Our daily lives often revolve around our dogs & each family member is involved in the care & training of each pup that comes into our home.


Lost Forty is a nod to Calhoun County, Arkansas.

Our puppies become versatile hunting companions, trained as tree dogs, tracking dogs for trailing wounded game, as well as coyote decoy dogs!


Of course, our puppies also thrive in active companion homes!
